The work.studio mobile app
The work.studio mobile app puts the parts of my.studio you need away from your desk on your phone: answer approvals, ask the assistant, and keep up with your tasks and automations. It uses the same account and organization as my.studio.
Get the app
Section titled “Get the app”- Android: work.studio on Google Play.
- iPhone: coming soon.
Section titled “Sign in”- Open the app and select Sign In.
- Your phone’s browser opens the work.studio sign-in page. Sign in with your work account, the same way you do on the web.
- You come back to the app, signed in. The app keeps you signed in between uses.
The app picks your account’s default environment for you. There’s no environment switcher on the phone.
If you belong to more than one organization, the app shows Select Organization with Your Organizations. Pick one. If you belong to none, it shows No Organization Found, with Get Started and Contact Support. The app has no way to switch organization once you’re signed in.
After you sign in, the app asks to send you notifications. Allow them: that’s how the app tells you something is waiting on you. See Needs you.
The three tabs
Section titled “The three tabs”| Tab | What it’s for |
|---|---|
| Ask | Chat with the assistant. See Ask and act on your phone. |
| Needs you | Approvals and decisions waiting on you. A red badge shows how many. See Needs you. |
| Act | Your Tasks and Automations. See Ask and act on your phone. |
The same number shows on the app icon.
Settings and signing out
Section titled “Settings and signing out”Tap the logo at the top left to open the menu with Settings and Sign Out.
Settings has:
- your account name and email
- Delete account: “Deletes everything, with 30 days to change your mind”. You confirm twice. work.studio emails you a link to confirm, and you can cancel any time in the next 30 days. Then the app signs you out.
- Notifications: “What reaches you, and on which devices”. See Needs you.
- Code Repositories: “Connect GitHub for AI code assistance”. Use Add Repository to pick an account, a repository and a branch. You need a GitHub connection first. If you don’t have one, the app sends you to my.studio to add it.
- Dark Mode
- links to the work.studio website, privacy policy and terms, and the app version
Sign Out asks “Sign out?” first. Signing out also stops push notifications to this phone.
What the phone doesn’t do
Section titled “What the phone doesn’t do”Some things need my.studio on a computer:
- Answering an approval that asks for a choice, a written answer, a form or a file. The phone handles yes-or-no approvals only.
- Adding a comment to an approval.
- Creating or editing an automation. The phone can run, pause and resume one.
- Creating a task.
- Building a view, writing files, and connecting a new account.
- Projects, the Library, Connections and Shield.
